MaraDNS is a completely free open-source package that anyone can download, use, and look at or modify the source code of without restriction. It is available under an open-source license.

For MaraDNS development to continue, contributions from users are needed. I was able to raise funds during the November 2011 pledge for donations and have enough funds to give MaraDNS more attention until mid-March, 2012.

How to contribute

To contribute to MaraDNS, please click on the "Support MaraDNS development" button in the upper right hand corner, and make a PayPal donation. Every $100 of donations I receive gives the MaraDNS community another month where I will provide basic bug-fix and mailing list support for MaraDNS and Deadwood.

If one wishes to have a particular feature implemented for MaraDNS, before sending me money, send me a private email and we can discuss rates.
